About Katie

Katie Daisy was raised by the birds and warm breezes of small-town Lindenwood, Illinois, brought up among the other wildflowers with roots planted deeply in the natural world.

Katie currently lives and works as a full-time illustrator in a river side home beneath the warm sun and old-growth pines. Katie seeks to experience and reveal ever-more fully the wonders of the natural world, to savor the simple joys of life, and to help others do the same. ♥

About Kathy

Kathy is a small-town girl from Bend, Oregon. She’s married to Brad Irwin, who has owned and operated Oregon Spirit Distillers since 2009. Kathy has two children; Savannah, and Elijah. She also feels so blessed to call ​little Finn Orion her first grandson!  

Kathy developed an interest in mixology when Oregon Spirit was formed. She often found herself behind the bar experimenting with unique flavors and
dreaming up delicious cocktails. ♥

About Meadowland

Meadowland is a collaboration between Katie and Kathy, based out of Bend, Oregon. Both work together to develop unique and delicious flavors that are deeply inspired by Katie's rural upbringing on the prairie. They hope their simple syrups conjure feelings of joy, wonder, and warm memories of summers past. 

Katie's roles at Meadowland include development of all branding aspects, package design, web design, and online marketing.

Kathy's tasks at Meadowland include production of syrups, operations, fulfillment, and accounting. ♥
